About Rabi Dasgupta
A flourishing career spanning over four decades in the Cement and Power industry, combined with hands-on exposure across multiple functions at diverse geographies, has shaped Rabi Dasgupta into a well-rounded, acclaimed and in-demand professional. Extensive experience across plant operations and corporate leadership roles has given him a rare depth of perspective and made him an authority in the industry.
A Chemical Engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, Rabi Dasgupta began his career in the cement industry and went on to build a distinguished professional journey spanning India, the Gulf and Africa.
Following the successful completion of his corporate career, he transitioned into entrepreneurship and currently serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of CEM POWER INTERNATIONAL, and the Founder Member and Managing Director of ACUMEN GLOBAL TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT, both based in Dubai, UAE.
Today, he is an entrepreneur, an accomplished TEDx and keynote speaker, a transformative educator and a strategic thinker in human development, widely recognised for his engaging style and thought leadership.
His message to the world is rooted in purpose, reason and responsibility. He advocates tolerance & coexistence as the foundations of sustainable societies. By strengthening families through thoughtful parenting, educating with integrity and nurturing values alongside competence, he believes it is possible to shape compassionate and future-ready citizens—and leave behind a legacy defined not by success alone, but by continuity.
